Ceramic Object “Memory of the Earth”

“Memory of the Earth” is a ceramic object inspired by natural forms and the traces of time. Its irregular silhouette and complex surface are intentionally preserved, emphasizing the hand-built character of the piece and the natural beauty of the material.
The object is handcrafted from red and white clay using the coiling technique. The combination of two clays creates natural variations in color and highlights the irregularity of the surface. The piece is left unglazed, allowing the raw texture of the material and traces of the hand-building process to remain visible as an integral part of its character.
The work can exist as a standalone sculptural object or become part of a composition with a branch, dried grasses, light, and shadow. For fresh plants, a kenzan and a separate inner container with water can be placed inside.
