A handcrafted ceramic object shaped by the aesthetics of wabi-sabi.
Its form and surface evoke natural textures — tree bark, weathered stone, and traces left by water and time. The object appears almost as if it had been found in a landscape: irregular, weathered, and gradually shaped by natural processes.
Hand-built from coarse French chamotte using the coil technique. The surface is left unglazed, preserving the natural variations of the material, traces of the making process, and its complex tactile texture. Irregularities and imperfections are not concealed but become part of the object’s character.
The piece exists at the intersection of functional design and sculpture. It is not intended for water or fresh flowers and can be displayed as a standalone interior object or used for compositions with dry branches and plants.
