Sculptural Bowl “Quiet Reef”
$250
A sculptural ceramic bowl with an organic shape and a free-flowing, uneven rim. Gentle curves extend from the centre, evoking a natural form found on the seabed or left behind by the receding tide.
The bowl is hand-built. Irregularities, folds, and subtle asymmetry are intentionally preserved, highlighting the expressive character of the clay. A pale glaze with warm sandy tones settles unevenly across the surface, revealing its relief and giving each part of the form its own character.
Despite its sculptural appearance, the bowl remains functional: finished with a food-safe glaze, it is suitable for fruit and serving. When empty, it stands alone as a ceramic art object.
One of a kind.
Height: 6 cm
Diameter: 18 cm
Width: 22 cm
Material: ceramic
Finish: food-safe glaze
